The weather has officially hit that transitional period of arctic mornings and unpredictable afternoons. As much as I love fall temperatures, getting dressed now means struggling to battle the early chill without sweating bullets later in the day. I typically count on various layers to take on the seasonal transition, but that doesn't stop at outerwear. Taking on a versatile, adaptable look for autumn is as easy as a pair of over-the-knee socks.
I personally love the combination of dresses and over-the-knee boots, though I'm not sure that the upcoming weather forecasts will accommodate that look just yet. Until we reach consistently lower temps, I'm using my over-the-knee socks as a cozy alternative. The greatest advantage is that you can remove them midday and still have a fabulous outfit. And once the evening rolls around, they're the perfect loungewear accessories for that Netflix binge.
PS. Is anyone else also loving this 70's tie neck top trend? Even my dad noticed and complimented the added detail. That must mean something.
