Simple NYC Apartment Room Tour
Tuesday, September 29, 2015
Here it is, my humble abode. I moved into a new apartment in the city this past summer, and while it won't last forever, I wanted to make sure it still holds true to my personal style. Read on to find out how I used a minimal amount of decor to create a room I am proud to call home. After all, the simplest adjustments can make all the difference:
Travel Style Hack:
1 Scarf, 30 Ways with Coutourist
Sunday, September 27, 2015
"Lightweight. Easy Storage. Countless Ways To Style."
What I've learned from this past year of adventure is that travel calls for the utmost convenience. Especially as a blogger, I often spend much too long planning vacation outfits that are both photo-ready and baggage-friendly. For the ultimate travel style hack, I'm partnering with Coutourist over the next five weeks to share thirty ways to wear one silk scarf to lighten that luggage load without compromising style.
Follow along today as I explore NYC while taking on the Coutourist Challenge with my first six scarf looks, because sometimes less is more.

With the new semester in full gear, my days are usually spent running around the city to keep up with my calendar's demands. Between constant subway rides and the occasional lazy girl Uber call, I have collected a solid group of everyday essentials to make these city commutes bearable.

On The Table II: NYC Eats
Sunday, September 20, 2015
Those of you who follow me in Instagram know I post food shots almost as often as outfits. In a city with endless dining options, how can I resist? From a cozy breakfast to unique autumnal desserts, I'm sharing some of my favorites from recent dining adventures around NYC. PS. Be sure to follow me on Zomato as well for in-depth reviews of my restaurant experiences!
Shift Into Fall
Thursday, September 17, 2015
Finding a shift dress that doesn't appear to shorten my legs is like landing on a pot of gold. While petite dressing has its limitations, it has taught me (after many embarrassing outfits) the importance of fit. With every new internship or job position, I like to build a wardrobe of looks suitable for everything my schedule brings, and this dress is no exception.
Balance
Tuesday, September 15, 2015
In my earlier days of blogging, I became wrapped up in the idea that my life had to mimic an Instagram feed. I spent some time trying to be a minimalist, until the summertime rolled around and I couldn't resist some bohemian prints. I then went for that teen Brandy Melville look (I know, I'm shaking my head too), truthfully because it garnered the most "likes". What I've learned over the course of these fashion experiments and mishaps is that style doesn't have to be defined. Yes, there are diehard minimalists with consistently perfect Insta-feeds in the fashion world. But that doesn't mean you have to be one too.
5 Things to Do This Autumn
Sunday, September 13, 2015
It has been about two weeks since the start of my final college semester, and it is safe to say that these next few months will show no mercy. In keeping up with the chaos of the semester, I never want to become so immersed in the day-to-day that I forget to enjoy my last experience as a student. Autumn brings an entire new season of exciting things that I'll be adding to my to-do list. Today I'm sharing a few with you in case you'd like to do the same as well:
The First Fall Transition

The sun is still blazing here in New York, but I am more than ready to start breaking out the autumn wardrobe. Layers, cozy knits, and everyday booties -- I'm ready for you. Until then, I am slowly transitioning into fall with some seasonal staples that will last until summer rolls around once again.

Bahamian Adventures, Part II
Sunday, September 6, 2015
Summer may not officially be ending, but the arrival of Labor Day always feels like the cutoff point of the season. While I spend a low-key holiday with some R&R, I hope you enjoy my final travel photos from the summer. The last leg of our cruise with Norwegian involved some heavy storms and excursion cancellations, but certainly still a fantastic time. Read on for a closer look:
Dolphins & Diving in Freeport, Bahamas
Tuesday, September 1, 2015
Oh sweet summer, how you start and end much too quickly. As I mentioned earlier, my best friend and I spent our last week of break cruising around the Bahamas with Norwegian. It was the perfect way to end a season of adventures and kick off my final semester as an undergraduate student. Our first stop was Freeport, where we swam with two amazing dolphins and relaxed under the warm Bahamian sun:
