With the fall breeze making its way in, my summer wardrobe is officially fading out. As much as I already miss the sunny season, my closet is ready to welcome autumnal tones and my borderline obsession with booties. With the fall weather comes the added expense of heavier layers, and this year I want to focus more on timeless investment pieces. Especially in anticipation of New York's unforgiving cold weather, a girl needs only the best to take on whatever the city commute may bring.
Durability and versatility are my major deciding factors when it comes to my daily accessories. I have been lusting over FRYE's accessories since my high school days and finally got my hands on pieces that will surely last a lifetime. What I have loved most about their products is the clear craftsmanship behind them. I spent last weekend running in my new booties to catch a bus home, along with my leather satchel filled to the brim with a DSLR, laptop and phone chargers, and basically the contents of my desk -- and still these products feel as if they will last through anything.
To transition into the autumn chill, I paired my accessories with an everyday layered look that adds just a touch of drama. The chiffon layer is a twist on the season's favorite duster coat and layers lightly to tackle the unstable temperatures. Paired with these heeled black booties, I feel like a girl boss stomping through the city streets (or pumpkin patches in this case). What are your favorite accessories for the fall season?
