Christina Goes Cruising:
Onboard Outfits

Tuesday, December 29, 2015

The best thing about sailing on the world's largest cruise ship is never feeling crowded by the six thousand passengers on board. It is a ship unlike any other, equipped with everything from a zip line to its own Central Park. Today I'm sharing three of the outfits I wore onboard this massive ship, along with some of my favorite spots to enjoy the sea breeze.

Top: Missguided | Shorts: Forever 21 (similar)
Sandals: Forever 21 (similar)

Naturally, I spent a great deal of time soaking in the sun on the top deck. My favorite area was the Solarium, which provided a tranquil sunbathing space with two whirlpools inside purely glass walls.

Top: Zara (similar here) | Pants: Forever 21 (old, similar here)

Yes, this ship even has a merry-go-round. My sister and I made frequent stops to The Boardwalk to watch diving shows at the Aquatheatre and pick up bags of candy on the daily (no shame).

Dress: Missguided (sold out, similar) | Heels: Zara (similar here)

It was like a slice of home onboard. On its eighth deck, the ships boasts a lovely area named Central Park that is covered in trees and shrubbery to bring some land to the sea. This little alley of vines was one of my favorite spots -- for pictures, of course!

This article really resonated with my own cruise experience last year. I loved how you highlighted the diverse activities available. It truly is amazing how such a large vessel can offer so many unique spaces, and I recall spending hours just exploring. If you’re looking for a fun time killer, Block Blast is a fantastic mobile game to pass the time between ports or while lounging by the pool. I found myself gravitating towards the quieter deck areas, often with a good book, enjoying the vastness of the ocean. The feeling of the sea breeze is simply unparalleled.
