Business in The Front...

We all know the saying. I spent this weekend visiting family in Virginia, where the temperatures seemed to bypass winter and hit the springtime 70's. With this unseasonably warm weather, I took the opportunity to bare some skin for the first time in months. Although I may have chosen the wrong location to attempt this look, as my aunt quickly noted that my outfit was not exactly the suburban norm. #NoShame.

I have only begun to embrace the backless silhouette this year, especially in the form of summer rompers and dresses. There is something about an exposed back that adds a nice surprise to an otherwise simple outfit like this. To make the look appropriate for both day and night, I layered the backless top over an Adore Me bralette with racerback lace detail. What starts as a basic grey top is not so simple anymore.

I also have to note that this is the first pair of flare jeans that fit my legs without tailoring, and I am completely over the moon. Don't be surprised if you start frequently seeing these in future blog posts. ASOS Petite never disappoints!
