I am approaching two years of blogging this fall, along with my last semester of college. 2015 has no doubt already been a game-changer for me, so there is no telling what is still to come in its second half. Between traveling across continents and landing the most unstructured, but exciting job I've had thus far, I have a new pursuit in mind to finish off the year -- adventure.
I recently took a short hike in northern New Jersey that ended with the most stunning 360-degree view of the area. My favorite sight, though not pictured, was the hazy silhouette of New York's skyline peering out from the far horizon. The city that typically towers over me was a speck of dust in that moment, and all those pesky daily anxieties seemed to disappear with it. From that small Jersey viewpoint, I was on top of the world.
As anyone can tell you, the best content is that which comes from a genuine place. Over time I've found that not only do my readers respond more to travel and experience-based posts, but I feel more fulfilled by them as well. While this does not at all mean I will be abandoning the Looks portion of Looks by Lau, moving forward I want to share more lifestyle content with you to simultaneously push myself to seek new experiences. I have some new ideas in the works that I am excited to execute and share with you, so stay tuned. This blog is going to become than just looks; Here's to life, by (Christina) Lau.
