We all love the idea of dressing in layers as the winter season comes around. But let's be real, by mid-December, we'd rather be wrapped up in a blanket wearing our best pajamas. Although even the cutest PJs haven't yet made it into our professional dress codes, there are easy ways to bring comfort to chic.

One of my favorite ways to stay cozy all day is to layer with the basic t-shirt dress. This piece from Bikini Luxe is especially comfortable with its stretch cotton fabric and oversized silhouette (P.S. This is meant to be a tunic, but my petite height treats it otherwise). With its simplicity, you can easily mix and match your layers to adjust to any given situation. In this case, I've styled the t-shirt dress for the office or a lunch outing. It contrasts nicely with the tailored blazer coat to create a balance that is neither too casual nor too formal. While others will compliment your refined look, you'll secretly feel like it's just another day in your PJs. Getting dressed doesn't get better than that.
