September may have started, but the heat surely did not fade with August. I spent the last weekend of my break exploring Hershey, Pennsylvania as my sister ran off to yet another boy band concert. One of the loveliest spots in the area is Hershey Gardens, where my parents and I enjoyed a brief walk through the botanical garden and arboretum before giving up on the blazing temperatures.
In times like these, my main criteria when getting dressed includes breathability and convenience. Those heavy statement necklaces and body-hugging pieces take a back seat when it comes to battling the sun's rays. While I anxiously wait for some fall weather to settle in, I've been turning to lightweight, easy rompers like this piece to get me through the heat.
