A Weekend in Nanjing

Sunday, April 12, 2015

Nanjing proved to be a lovely escape from the urban chaos of Shanghai. Despite the sometimes overwhelming swarms of tourists, the city's enormous scenic areas are stunning distractions. It is a small but bustling city, and while I probably won't need a return trip anytime soon, I highly recommend a visit to anyone who hasn't already done so. Read on for more highlights from this beautiful trip!

The view from Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum in Zhongshan Ling.

The Linggu Pagoda in Zhongshan Ling.

From the top of Linggu Pagoda.

Inside Nanjing Impressions Restaurant.

Along the Qin Huai River.

Outside Nanjing's Railway Station.

(Not pictured, but definitely a highlight: Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall)
