I have finally made it to the big 2-1! This past year has been a whirlwind of changes from bigger blogging opportunities to my current study abroad experience, and I wouldn't take back one moment of it. I can't thank those who have been in my support enough for constantly inspiring me to achieve more each day. Here's to a new year of excitement, challenge, and adventure!

My boyfriend and I kicked off my 21st on the beautiful island of Hainan, just three hours from Shanghai by flight. We kept it relatively low-key around the resort and beach, but I could not have asked for a better way to celebrate. It felt amazing to escape the city for a bit for cloudless skies and clear ocean water. With the island's hot and humid climate, I wanted keep my birthday outfit balanced between comfortable and dressy. Victor actually gifted me with this lovely lace top that was perfectly fitting for the occasion. It makes for a seamless day-to-night transition, especially with the breezy off-shoulder detail.
