From early on in our lives, we are constantly asked what we want to be when we grow up. While the possible answers are endless, there is one title that us females should all have in common -- Girl Boss. Your ability to be a Girl Boss is not limited to a professional title. What I loved most about Sophia Amoruso's book is the emphasis on being a leader from within (PS -- If you haven't read this already, drop everything and do it now). Regardless of what kind of Girl Boss you aspire to be, your ability to achieve any goal is the result of passion, dedication, and a little dose of badass.

At this point in my life I don't have a specific professional goal. But I do know that I want to have some kind of influence. Being in college has shown me that seeking opportunity only goes so far -- you have to create it. My path to becoming a Girl Boss, therefore, can be largely attributed to this blog. What I love most about fashion and blogging is the creative freedom that allows you to share your voice and collaborate with others. This has given me leverage to become the leader of my own life, and I think that is what being a Girl Boss is all about. So let me ask you -- what makes you a #GirlBoss?
