Sporty chic has returned to Looks by Lau! Today I'm styling Lex & Mila's faux leather laser cut dress. This is unlike any piece I've owned before, but I've decided to take some chances and revamp my wardrobe for this season. My collection of summer dresses shows my former tendency to gravitate towards bright, feminine styles. This year, I want to bring some edge into the mix.

I love this laser cut dress because it is completely out of my comfort zone. It reminds me of something Dani Song would wear given her effortlessly cool style. Since it is faux leather, the laser cuts take away from the usual stiffness and make it lighter for the summer seasons. For a completely minimal look, I only wore my cutout heels and a chain necklace with the dress. This makes it an easy outfit to throw on quickly without as much effort as it may seem.
