The Colors of Annapolis

A friend of mine recently said that we are spoiled in New York. I couldn't agree more. My life in the city tends to become a whirlwind of stress and haste, which often leads to complete under-appreciation of the world going on outside my own. Despite the oxymoron, sometimes it takes a brief vacation outside of reality to bring us back into it. This past weekend, a drive down to Maryland was just what I needed to take that step back and enjoy life for its simplicity.
