Happy weekend! If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know that I just finished my first week interning at a new company for the summer. While I am beyond excited about this new position, I'm still getting acquainted with the "business casual" dress code of corporate America. Lately my shopping trips have involved hunts for pencil skirts and trousers that will still make me feel like a 20-year old style blogger. Let me know if you'd like me to post some photos of what I've been wearing to the office!
That being said, blogging has given me an excuse to throw on my favorite summer pieces after working all day. This romper, for instance, is one of my go-to items for a night out. What I love most is its attention to the right amount of exposure. The cut of the shorts is reminiscent of the popular One Teaspoon denim pairs, but at a longer length. I love how the lace creates a high-low hem that doesn't make me worry about exposing too much. However, the the romper also has this almost backless detail that makes it quite the statement piece.
Girl is Gun's online store is currently under construction, but check out their Instagram here for a sneak peek of their products! Judging by this romper, I think I will be shopping there often.
